Dear Bridesmaids and Maid of honors

Image
*Disclaimer: This blog is very blunt and straightforward. This is in no way directed to any wedding party I was or am currently a part of. I simply wrote most of this in Aug of 2016 and I recently updated it as I am currently involved in two wonderful friends' weddings. I hope this blog helps future wedding parties understand their role before they agree to be a part of someone's wedding.*  "Oh my God! Yes, I’ll be in your wedding!!!" Ever been in this situation? Do you forsee this coming in your future? Read on to understand your role. Brides (and grooms, but I am focusing on brides) have SO many things to stress over such as invites, budgets, cake, flowers, seating, venue hunting, officiant hunting, decoration, and the list will go on forever. This blog however is neither for the bride nor the groom (I've got a blog for brides here ). This is for the friends or families who have accepted the invitation of being a part of the wedding party.

Look What You Made Me Do REVIEW

When Taylor Swift first appeared on the music scene, I was going through my whole dislike-anything-that-majority-of-people-like-just-to-be-different phase. HAHA I don't know what snapped but one day I just realized how much I appreciated her music writing skills and melodies and easy to sing along factor. I have top 5 favorites which are:   Love Story     Enchanted   All Too Well Holy Ground   Blank Space Being a pretty loyal follower of Taylor, or "a Swiftie" (LOL) I keep up with new songs and album drop dates. Normally she puts out new music every 24 months around the fall time..... This year however she changed things up and us fans painfully waited for three full years! I read on Facebook about a song being revealed Thursday "night" so naturally I planned to wait until midnight because obviously I'm not going to miss it! I don't get this committed to many things, so don't judge me! This first release is called Look What

Anxiety Q&A

During October 2015 I asked 10-15 women ages 21-27 if they would like to participate in an anonymous open questionnaire about their anxiety. The women were simply told to answer the questions, no why or what would happen later. The goal however on my end was to put together all the answers and show people with and without anxiety how it affects people differently as well as show the women suffering that they truly are not alone. I also purposely waited over 15 months to reveal everything so that the participants can read their answers and realize how different things are from 15 months ago. Here are the results. Names have not been added for privacy and confidentiality but no answer is altered in any way. 12 women participated. I will state the question and then provide the 12 responses. Question 1: How often would you say you experience anxiety? Daily? Weekly? Explain. P1: A few times a week I'll feel really panicky. It's usually brought on when I think a

Ever since I can remember I have these things on my neck. Over time, they've gotten bigger. I was never bothered by them because they did no harm. They just sat there as a part of me. I sort of actually liked them lol. Well, today I felt really odd. It felt like something was bothering the larger one as I was getting dressed for work. It literally felt as if a necklace was rubbing on it or something. I got a weird feeling and contacted my doctor. She squeezed me in on her lunch break and I was not prepared for what was to come. Apparently this doctor is also a licensed dermatologist. SHE REMOVED BOTH OF THEM FOR ME, Now, I was given a shot to help with the pain. I didn't mind that part. I was getting sick feeling at the idea of her "removing" it. I can't even say or type the word. Snip. ew ew ew I told her and her assistant (who had gone through this twice before) that I didn't want to hear any talk or medical terms or plans of what their doing
